Here are some tips to different types of murals for different age groups.

Nurseries:
A mural can enhance a nursery allowing a calm but stimulating environment for them to begin the first years of their lives. Think about Nursery Rhymes which you can point out and sing-a-long to or Fairy Tales such as Goldilocks and the 3 bears or any other story which you can point out the characters and tell their stories.
Most murals will do best on a white or off white or very pale color.

Kids Bedrooms:
What an imagination they have at this age they are discovering books, movies and what they love. Transform a room into an underwater adventure and watch a dolphin, shark and octopus discover a sunken treasure while lots of colorful fish look on, or a jungle of animals featuring a cute little elephant and his jungle pals a couple of monkeys, a giraffe, a hippopotamus, a leopard, a lion and a silly snake or two. A paint consultation can be provided before hand for best painted results for the mural this can be done at the initial consultation.

Teen Rooms:
Is your child entering into the teen years? If so, it may be time to update the room. Think modern and bold, bright colors and a large modern mural or think about having some large canvases or framed art done in the style of their favourite band or idol. Your teen has their own personal style so consult with them on what they expect from the room and work out a budget. Think about decor as well, lighting is very important for reading and homework and also update some of the furnishings and bedding to modernize the room.
